The Righteous Hair course exists to free you from what has veiled your knowledge over the course of time (with regard to your hair) and separated you from your empowerment. My deepest desire is to create a powerful community where information is shared and women of the African Diaspora can connect with one another in a productive way and be heard, be constructive and be empowered when it comes to our hair and the loc'd styles we choose. Kudos to you being here. I am happy as HECK to be here! You will learn how to maintain healthy Sisterlocks, Microlocks & Knotted Locs. Become aware of potential stumbling blocks with all three styles. You will identify problem areas & be presented w/ solutions- saving you time, suffering, and hair loss. You will understand all steps from installing a KL to what to look out for . You will learn how to place knots correctly, with my fail proof method and will greatly benefit from the wisdom that I have gained over the course of more than a year of deeply investigating and advancing my knowledge about the pros and cons of this particular kind of loc. Only knowledge that has benefited me, originated ONLY from me, is tried & true, and that was born unfortunately of trial and error, (which I feel new and veteran wearers can definitely avoid) is shared. Rich tutorials, guidance, & PDF files will help you become proficient in whatever style you choose. I acknowledge the pitfalls and missteps that can happen without adequate knowledge, foresight, & preparation.

I am the owner of the I Am Melanin Magic Brand and the accompanying host to its YouTube counterpart also known as Tunisia's Locs. My interest in hair began at age 5, ripened while working in Lola's Looking Glass Salon in Philadelphia, and culminated in my installing weaves and box braids for clients in college and in the surrounding areas. Today, it continues as I have fun with Knotted Locs and Sisterlocks, looking for better ways to do things to prolong hair health. As CEO of I Am Melanin Magic, I, Tunisia Ali, am invested in spiritual healing and well being. As an Energy Healer, Educator, Author, and Spiritual Mentor, I have been invested for decades in that which not only edifies us outwardly, but that which enriches our spiritual health and wellness. I Am Melanin Magic is just one of the many ways that I share my passion for holistic health with my supporters. After many years of studying and training with herbs and aromatherapy, and creating amazing skin and hair products & healing blends for my family and community, I realized it was time to share these family recipes with the larger community.
